The Lifetime of Joey

The Lifetime of Joey
BY: Jerry Chen

Chapter 1: Welcome to the World

Joey was a child who belonged to an average family called the Cronks. Joey was born on February 29, 1687 in Boston, Massachusetts. He was the only child. He learned how to walk at the age of 1 and to talk at the age of 3. So you see Joey was an average child and a fast learner but just with a rare birth date. Joey, welcome to the human world.

Chapter 2: Joey’s Difference

But, Joey was born with a virus maybe good maybe bad but since this virus has never been seen before no one knows if it is good or bad. Joey is also a smart child at least according to his parent’s gene. He became one foot high at the age of 5 and he skipped Kinder and also first grade because of his smartness. But since he was the shortest in second grade he was often bullied.

Chapter 3: Joey’s Business Plan

So you see, Joey’s life has a large difference compared to other kids at his age. However he did have a friend who was Steve an ordinary child who never skipped any grades. Together, they organized a group called the Free Learners. There, people can have either private or group lessons with Joey subjected on schoolwork and only 10 cents per person.

Chapter 4: Joey’s School

As I have said, Joey is a fast learner and also a fast growing child. Joey’s school is ranked top 3 in Boston and it is also a private school. When he was in second grade he became among the most famous and the best learners of the grade. The first quarter the got all A plusses except for Physical Ed., which he got a B plus. His parents automatically and also willingly lent him the gym key of the neighborhood so that he could get a little more exercise everyday.
Chapter 5: The Inspirement
Once he started going to the gym he got inspired of how the weightlifters kept on going no matter how thirsty they are or how tired they are, they just kept on going. The second time he went, he tried it and found it surprisingly fun then he realized that was the secret all the weightlifters had they found it fun and also good for their bodies that was why they were able to hold it in until the time they had set up. When he went home drinking a bottle of water he thought it felt good to achieve something.
Chapter 6: Grades and Parades
The second quarter in school in Physical Ed. he got an A plus and of course all the rest are A plusses too. Because the parent’s plan succeeded and Joey got his A plus on his class, they celebrated by marching in a parade around the neighborhood. It was the Cronks way of celebrating a victory against something or someone. Joey got his desire granted.
