So, hello.
I am here to announce to the people of the world that I am going to write on my blog without stopping for 21 days. Yeah, it sure sounds like a challenge, so, anyways, today is the first day and I have 15 minutes to write to you. Here we go.
Recently, my mom opened a store in a local tourist area on the island that we currently live on, Puerto Rico. In fact, right now as I am typing this, sitting down hammering the keyboard of this public computer of the library, I am wearing a shirt that says Puerto Rico 1493. Did you know that in 1493 Christopher Columbus discovered Puerto Rico and colonized it? Well, yeah, so that's why it's an important year for Puerto Ricans, the year Columbus took their freedom away.
So anyways, back to the subject. My mom opened a store in Viejo San Juan called "Gifts to Go" and I work there for approximately 10 hours a day, earning 1 dollar per hour. Yeah, I know, that's below minimum wage, but that's because I am not 18 years old, and I can't legally "work". Yeah, I just announced to the world that I am not a legal adult and therefore cannot have a gmail account in the first place. Yeah. However, I think Google should really change the way their systems work, because anyone can just enter a year that's not their real birthday and get away with it, for example, me. OK, enough of that, let's get back to the topic.
I've been working there for some time now, about a week, because now, my mom owes me quite some money.
So, I guess I'm gonna end it here for today.
Bye!
