A new start

It's January. And not just any day of January. The first day of January, aka the first day of the year. 

Now, I know I haven't written one of these posts in a mighty long time, 100 days at least. So, I'm going to start writing again. 

This past year has been, insightful. At the very least I feel like I've learned a lot and now understand a whole lot more about life now. Surely, I can't put it all into words on this one blog post but it's enough just for future me to know. I've realized that although you yourself might not be able to tell how much you've come along over a year, if you look back at your past actions or words you'll see that you're a different person than you were. You might make different decisions now than you did back then. Maybe go down another path. 

However, there are more important things in life than just sitting around pondering about the past. The present is right in front of you and that's the only thing you can alter. You can LEARN from the past though, if not, then people would never learn from their mistakes. And your own future can be unpredictable, you can shape it yourself, in any way you want. Your life is literally custom made for you, BY you. Another revolution around the sun. Maybe a few dozen times more. Make the most of it, will you?

A first step forward. A solid one to start. Let's do this.
