 mister coolio

Heyyy what's up everyone! Hope you all had some fun stuff to do today because I actually do have some cool stories to talk about today LOL!

So in English, as soon as we go in we start the end unit essay. So I'm there, a bit lost on how to start. Three paragraph essay, sounds easy enough right? Well turns out it's not. At least to start. There is this quote, "The secret to getting ahead is getting started." However, getting started is often the most difficult part of the whole job. Anyways, I decided my essay should hook the reader with a powerful quote in the first sentence since I'm a quote guy.

Now, there were two quotes I was deciding between. Here I'll plug them in here:

1. “It is not the strongest species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the most responsive to change.”

2. “In a chronically leaking boat, energy devoted to changing vessels is more productive than energy devoted to patching leaks.

Those two. The first one is by the great Father of Evolution, Charles Darwin. The second is by the legend himself, Warren Buffett. So, basically, both of them are great but which one relates better with my essay? That was the question I was trying to find an answer to. I asked the teacher and she said the first one was good so I figured I'd use that one since it's simpler to comprehend as well.

ANDDD the really funny part about this class was that three other kids from my class were contacting me asking for help and advice LOL. I felt important all of a sudden haha, I helped them as best as I could. I also got quite a lot of help from the teacher in comparison to the rest of my classmates. She commented on my essay for a full 4 minutes nonstop when she only took one or two minutes for other people. MUAHAHA! We'll be writing more of the essay next class.

Now we're in Spanish, but there was a conference thing going on in Zoom where people were explaining stuff about a local dance, and some of the kids in including Rama started saying that we're supposed to be there instead of in Spanish so she let us go.

Finally, in History, we talked over what we took notes on in the previous class and took even more notes. Sigh, pretty uneventful.

AFTER school...
The NJHS student board which includes Psi, Rama, and Toro had a meeting and they were assigned a task. That task was to find and collect the phone numbers of all the new members joining the NJHS. There are around 30-40 members I would estimate, and most of them are from 8th grade which is one grade below us.

Sigh, I knew that my friends were going to have a hard time getting all those numbers so I decided to lend a happy helping hand. I think I got the job done in quite an efficient manner. I found all of them except for two. I tried really hard to look for those final two but I just couldn't find them.

Luckily, Psi should be able to contact one of them in the next NJHS meeting and hopefully find some other way to reach the final one.

Yup, the point is, I had a feeling of what it felt like to be popular. Well, not really popular. Just, to be in touch with a lot of people I guess. I was thinking of naming this blog, mister popularity but I wouldn't say that's the best word choice so I'll name it coolio instead. BYEEE
