Age Restrictions for Occupations are Adjustable...
Today I had my final AoPS class on Algebra B, the title of the class was to solve challenging problems but to be honest, most of the problems we solved were just easy ones if you knew the trick. Meaning that as long as you know the little smarts behind the problem you can easily use basic arithmetic for the rest and ta-da! you solved it. Not gonna lie, the class was pretty fun though.
And I also had my Writing Pros class today, we were supposed to write a thesis statement but I was short on ideas so I decided to look for one of my old works. This argumentative essay that I wrote in English class about one or two years back and change up the thesis statement to incorporate what we learned in class. This way I enhance my original literature using my newly acquired knowledge. Pretty cool huh?
The essay was on whether or not students should work part-time jobs. My opinion was that yes, they should, and my statement is bolstered (membean word) or buttressed (another membean word) by the following three points:
1. It helps students understand the value of money.
2. By working students can learn important skills.
3. Those who work tend to have a higher GPA than those who don't.
And of course, these points were supported by evidence, evidence that I looked for all over the big wide web. The title of today's blog is the title I used for my essay. Maybe I'll show you the essay another day. bye!
