C++
So for the camp that I had talked about before, the one online, turns out that my dad enrolled me in the USACO beginner class which is programming and the language that they chose was C++, they said that it was going to be between that and Python and turns out they chose to go with the former. My mom actually learned C++ in college but she had never used it since but she figured that she could at least give me some sort of orientation so that I don't need to head in the class blindly. They needed to go check on the beach apartment today so they left me in the house and my mom told me to watch two videos and also to find and install a C++ compiler that's simple yet has all the capabilities. Trust me finding and installing one is a lot harder than it sounds, I know a friend that codes in C++ but she said that she hadn't coded in a while but when she did she used two, C Lion and Eclipse. Took me a while to find C Lion but after installing it I found out that you actually needed a license to use it and that cost money. oof. So I moved on and installed eclipse but after I did the setup thing kept telling me that it couldn't fully install it because there was something missing on my computer. I had to install the missing component but to find that what I had installed was actually used for java and not C++. dang it. In the end, I found the right one and installed it, it's free but from the looks of it, C++ is a lot more complex at writing than Python, uh oh.
