New Mattress
So the mattress on my parent's bed was a little old, I mean it is 12 years old after all so my parents decided that they will buy a new one. Today was the day that we disposed of the old one, and we brought down the other mattress from upstairs. Trust me, it's a whole lot easier said than done. First off the mattress we needed to throw out is a queen or king-size so it's huge and weighs a ton.
And my apartment is three floors so it doesn't have an elevator, not that a mattress of that size would fit but just saying. The stairwell is quite narrow so we need to squish the mattress through the sides of the wall, good thing it's filled with sponge and is somewhat flexible, if it were something solid I doubt we would have been able to accomplish the feat.
After we got it outside the apartment we hoisted it on top of the roof of our Toyota Highlander and we strapped it with a long rope with me and my dad hold the end of them through the car windows. It was only about a 5-minute ride to the place we were gonna dump it, and there was already another mattress there lol.
I also took my Chinese and math classes today, in Chinese my grandma had me label out some words and read this pretty long and hard tongue-twister. In math, I beat my dad at most of the problems and the thing was that he was trying to have me solve the problem using his "traditional" and "effective" method but guess what, my brutal force solves them much more easily and cuts through them like butter. Boom.
